I just received word from Sister Debbie that the church at East Jenkins has been closed.  With much sadness, I make this announcement.  After nearly sixty-seven years, the East Jenkins Church of God is no longer in operation.  This appears to have been a decision made by the Church State Headquarters.  Our best wishes for a continuing ministry for Brother Dave and Sister Debbie who so unselfish gave of themselves to try to keep the church open.  They are actively involved in a food ministry to the poor in the area, and I am sure they would appreciate your prayerful support as they go forward with that much-needed ministry.  (You can email them at "Families First Ministries."  See below)

There is an active Church of God near Jenkins, at Neon, about seven miles from Jenkins.  Visit Rev. Larry Smith and the folks there when you are in the area.  Visit "Our Church" page at Kelsey Adams Family also.
